| − | + | I saw cars 2 thinking OH GOSH this is gonna be like a Shrek seuqel. and then I remembered I didn't really think cars 1 was great to begin with and it probably didn't deserve a seuqel But needless to say I THOROUGHLY enjoyed Cars 2. I enjoyed the change from McQueen to Mater as the main character. I enjoyed all the action. I even was astounded and a little disturbed when (**SPOILER ?**) like 5 cars died DIED!!!! Everyone has their own opinion on what the best Pixar movies are but we can all agree that they are PRIMARILY targeted at children and as a kids movie this is a pretty good one. Sure it may not have the same power and nostalgia to older viewers as Toy Story 3 did but maybe to the 6,7 and 8 year old's of today this might be their Toy Story equivalent. Just because things are new,different, and we are not little children who fall in love with anything they find entertaining does not mean that things that are new or different are bad. | |
